So, I’m starting this blog to document something new in my life. I’m getting ready to enroll in Ivy Tech-Anderson to start a new career as….a nurse. My intention with this blog is to document the whole process, from start to finish. From enrollment into school to the first day on the job as a nurse.
As I’ve found out so far in life, you never know what will happen down the road. I really thought 20 years ago when I first enrolled in school that I would be a photographer for my entire career. It really has been 20 years. 20 years ago this September, I enrolled at the Ohio Institute of Photography’s commercial photography program. Now, I’ll be enrolling this August I’ll be taking my pre-reqs for the ASN program. Things sure have changed. I may expand upon my reasons for changing careers in a future post, but for now this blog is about moving forward.
So, move forward I will. My next few posts will be about the enrollment process at Ivy Tech. The best part about the school is that it’s just 5 minutes up the road from our house. How awesome is that!
